About the Artist

I started making bears in 1995. When I retired just in time for COVID, I decided to make bears to sell, so here I am.

I started collecting bears and going to shows in the early 90s. My local teddy bear store – The Bear Factory – began having classes on how to make bears, so I signed up right away. We had so much fun! I also took classes at shows. I learned from the best! When I learned needle felting, it put a whole new spin on my bears. I love the detail I can put on the faces and I’m not restricted by the type of fur I use.

I’ve been mostly collecting for the past 20 years. My “real” job was pretty much my life, so there wasn’t time to make more than the occasional bear for a gift. Now that I’m retired, I have my dream job – making OOAK bears and bunnies to share with you! I hope you find a friend here to adopt. They’re ready and waiting!

Fluff

Fluff is a OOAK bear in the original teddy bear style – no fancy colors or wrappings. She is 12 inches tall, and she is made from extra dense white curly German mohair and she has white ultra suede paw pads. She has glass eyes and is stuffed with pellets and polyester. Details on her face are needle felted wool.

Paddy

Paddy is a OOAK St. Patrick’s bear dressed to go party! He is 12 inches tall made from very dense tan German mohair. He has a decorated hat, embroidered paw pads and he’s found pot ‘o gold at the end of the rainbow! He has glass eyes and is stuffed with pellets and polyester. Details on his face are needle felted wool.

Aiden

Aiden is a OOAK St. Patrick’s bear, 10 inches tall and made from dark green and white of medium density, curly mohair. He is decorated for all of St. Patrick’s Day and is sporting a vest and a green and white felt golfing hat with a green pom-pom on top! And with the luck of the Irish, he’s found a Pot ‘o Gold at the end of the rainbow! His paw pads are embroidered with shamrocks He is a 5 way jointed bear, has glass eyes and is stuffed with polyester and weighted with pellets. Accents on his face are needle felted wool.

Millie 

Millie is a OOAK bear ready and waiting to deliver eggs this year! She is approximately 14-1/2 inches tall, made from highest quality dense cream mohair. She is sitting in a flower draped basket among the colorful eggs and flowers with her two chick friends (chicks were purchased). She has paw pads that match her ruffled collar, lots of beautiful, colorful ribbons tied in a big bow around her neck. She has glass eyes and is stuffed with pellets and polyester. Her bunny ears (detachable) and details on her face are needle felted wool.

Flutter

Flutter is a OOAK butterfly bear ready for the Spring! She has a bright blue butterfly that matches her two blue bows and her fantastic wings!  She is also sporting a genuine Swarovski crystal bead on her pretty little nose. She is 9 inches tall, and she is made from medium density white German mohair and she has white ultra suede paw pads. She has glass eyes and is stuffed with pellets and polyester.
